TAG-5 Things You May Not Have Known About Hannah and Casey

Hannah Marie
1) Hannah is one of the shyest little girls. Atleast to anyone she she hasn't talked to or seen atleast 20 or more times. She is still warming up to her new aunt Tasha that has been in the family since May. However, once she knows you and is comfortable around you...she is a little show off and little talker!

2) Hannah was born with congenital hypothyroidism, which means her thyroid never developed correctly. This is crucial especially during the first few years of life since it balances all of the hormones in the body. She started to have seizures when she was just a month old because the Dr didn't start her medicine dosage correct, so we spent a week at Primary Children's trying to get the seizures under control and make sure nothing else was wrong. She has not had a seizure since and is a perfectly healthy girl, as long as she keeps taking her thyroid hormone, something she will do everyday, the rest of her life.

3) Hannah is my little peacemaker. Whenever mommy and Casey are "discussing" something, she will tell us to stop. She does not like confrontation or for anyone to be sad. She is so tenderhearted and will cry if Casey cries.

4) Hannah has learned all her ABCs. She knows the sign language for them, can write them and tell you what sound they make. I am amazed!

5) This one is no suprise, but you can't talk about Hannah without talking about puppies. She absolutely loves them, really anything small for that matter. She honestly didn't say maybe two words(one of them being puppy) until we bought her a real one. She carries a stuffed puppy around with her everywhere and has atleast 20 of them. If she can't find a specific one, she cries and calls for them until we find it.

Casey Jay
1) Casey has a mind all of his own. He is my little smarty pants. Lately, if he says something that might not be quite correct and I correct him, he will say, " I can call it whatever I want to."

2) Casey is one of the sweetest little guys I know. He is always telling me how beautiful I am or just tells me he loves me at random times. I love this about him.

3) Casey is a grandma's boy and always has been. He would prefer to be with either Grandma Jill or Grandma LaMont over mommy anyday.

4) Casey loves to wrestle with daddy. He looks forward to every night when dad gets home so they can play together, wrestling and pretending to be monsters. He is protective of me though and won't let daddy get anywhere near me when they are wrestling. He is a tough little guy!

5) Casey is my littl pack rat. Whatever he has played with the entire day stays with him wherever he goes. In the middle of the night he will wake up trying to find it...most times it is lost in his blankets. This goes for pictures, toys, books, markers...whatever it may be. If he gets something from one of his grandma's it stays with him for days.
