Elder Garrett Smith

Its taken a while to be able to post this. My little brother Garrett was called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Accra, Ghana. What a great example he is and what a great missionary he is becoming. His fairwell was wonderful, the little neices and nephews sang and tears filled all of our eyes as we heard and felt how strong his testimony is. He will be loved in Ghana. I was prepared to say my goodbye's and thought that the kids were still a little young to fully grasp that he was truly going away for 2 years, sometimes I don't realize how much my children grasp. Hannah was very emotional to say the least. She would not let go of him and grandpa had to pull her away. She still writes sweet notes about her Garrett and how much she loves and misses him but she knows he is doing the right thing. I am so proud of him and am grateful for the example he is.
